Here is the basic rule for writing reports in my classes:

DO NOT COPY

The Web is not a free opportunity to copy and paste material. First, it is illegal!
The reason people (like me) put information on the Web is to help people think--Not Steal.
Second, whenever you find material in a book, on the Web, etc., you must REFERENCE IT.

If you plagiarize in my class, the result is:

YOU WILL GET ZERO (0) FOR THE CLASS!

I do not care how much you copy or why, you will get ZERO!

When writing for business, always use the APA Style Guidelines

Exception:

If you are in my business writing class, then I want you to copy from the book, but make changes to the specific subjects.
This kind of copying is based on genre and is acceptable.
